It was amazing. Great blocks, awesome digs, and pounding spikes off of blocks shanked digs and my favorite, off of the blockers HEAD/FACES. I wish I got a picture of them. But I do have other pictures and they will be here soon. I hope! I want to thank my sister for amazing tickets for each day. My friends all benefited. Thanks Stacy!
Volleyball
19 04 2009Watching the AVP is amazing. I hope that they come back to Riverside every year. I think that it is a great venue for the city and for the culture that we have her in riverside. I feel that there are not many families that get to experience the life of beach volleyball and by having the AVP hosted by riverside in downtown I love it. To see professional athletes competing in our city it is a amazing. Did I say that it was amazing. I am thinking about going back for tonights session. Well it is down to eight teams and four of them have not even lost their first match.
Bring it!

AVP in Riverside
18 04 2009The first round of the AVP in Riverside was great! Some great games and with the tickets that my amazing sister got for me and my friends was SWEET! Sitting on some couches, chating with great friends, in the VIP tent. Can it get any better? Oh and did I mention hanging out with the professional volleyball players as well.
I wish I was still playing volleyball and that I was good enough to enter into the AVP. These guy’s are heads over the net crushing the ball straing down. Can you say hops! Well off to bed to rest for another great day of watching some of the best volleyball players in the world. Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers play at 12:00 tomorrow can’t wait. And in our back yard (Downtown Riverside) How amazing is this. Too bad Misty May is out due to injury, but congrats to Walsh with her soon to be new born. Can’t wait to see you back on the court.
Peace out!

Good Friday Service
12 04 2009On Friday Sandals Church had a good Friday service in peoples homes, over the inter-net, and in a theater in mo val. I was blessed to go to the one in mo val due to my wonderful wife and her job. I thought the video was cool, but the best part was that I got to see the amazing work that God is during in peoples lives, so although I thought it would be better to just watch the video at home I now know that it was better to be in the presence of other believers and to go through it with them. Tomorrow would have been the day in which Jesus rose. We are so blessed to know the outcome of the event. Because it was tremendously hard for me to picture what I would have felt and done if I was present during these events. Would I Deni Christ three times? Would I run and hide? Would I give up on truth? Would I just join the crowd?
We are so blessed to live with knowing the truth. now I am not saying it is any easier to be a believer but I am saying that by knowing what happened we don’t have to live with the burden of true disconnection from God. The loneliness that Jesus felt upon the cross, to be separated from God. I pray that whoever is reading my blog will help me to live a life that is a pleasing to God and that I am constantly living to serve His Kingdom.
The choice is ours, he gives us the freedom of choice. To chose him or not. My choice is Him. What is your choice? Let us stay together and help each other become strong in Him and share His word.
Wow that was long. Have a great night and let us celebrate tomorrow the day of our Lord and Savior!

Vegas Baby!
5 04 2009Amanda and I went up to Vegas to hang out with my mom and grandma. It was a short but great trip. I feel that I was the odd man out with it being three woman and me. Granted I had a great time. It opened my eyes to how my mom, grandma, and my wife could party. It was crazy. I didn’t feel that I was with three generations of women. It was like we were all college kids. Sleep would have been non-existant if it wasn’t for me. I know you are thinking what Mike wanted to go to sleep in Vegas! Yes I was tired, even the bright blinking lights and shinny objects didn’t keep me up. I was even shocked. But it was a great sleep. Had a King size bed and had plenty of room for Amanda to travel in her sleep. She even stated she woke up in the midde of the night to notice she was sleeping perpendicular to me. AMAZING! Gotta get a King size bed for us.
What do you like to do in Vegas? Road trip anyone?
